I have already made my purchase of a 3G Kindle, but, I have to say that your review was the best and most informative I have found here on Youtube so far. Good job!
@Xeniathar Yeah, I have been reading the Kindle for hours with no eye strain – same as with a normal book! Before I heard about e-Ink I thought it was just a boring version of the iPad, but it really is like a real book!
@irishpolyglot Thanks! I just checked out the specs and realized I didn’t have to bother you with the question. Although I appreciate your very informed response.
Thanks for that info! I have had open office but never used it, and didn’t feel like paying Adobe 20 dollars to give me a PDF creating program.
Now if I can just find some good German and international newspapers my decision will be even more set in stone. Thanks again! Keep up the wonderful work!
I’ll definitely be getting one of those. The best feature for me would be that it’s like a real book, without back light, cause my eyes got really f**k up by reading from the computer. =(
Thanks for the review, I loved ish!
@AnwendEihwaz You can also buy audio books off Amazon direct to the Kindle, some that synch with the real book. There is also a voice synthesiser (automatic though) that you can activate on any book. It has good audio output & plays MP3s.
There is a ridiculous amount of PDF content available to study online. You can also make your own by copying and pasting to Open Office and saving as a PDF for example. I did that with a cool vocabulary list I found.
Glad you liked the shot!
Great review! I’ve been thinking about getting a kindle for language needs and ease of keeping tons of books in one place. Quick questions though: are there a good variety of language books available for PDF or on amazon that you know of? And does kindle support audio, for instance in the case of audio accompanied language books? I am thinking it doesn’t, but just curious.
Thanks for a lovely shot of Budapest. And your apartment too.

good review, thank you ^^
Good video, not sure Hungary, but can’t wait for the Kindle to arrive. Does the light really drain the battery life?

@eobo49821 Nedankinde!
@Owner46 Yep – reading it outside was what sold me on buying it. An iPad for example keeps you indoors. I love my Kindle!
